News / The Love Show / Benifit show this Friday

Posted 02/24/2010

Greetings.

The website is finally finished!  We will now be able to update the site w/ new content whenever we feel so inclined.  However, due to our busy schedules this will more than likely occur once per week.

“What is going on w/ the band?” you might be wondering.  “They haven’t updated their website in over three weeks.”

The answer is “a shit-ton.”

Here is a general outline of current band tasks:

  1. finish tshirt designs and make them available for sale online.
  2. finish new songs- “MankillaWhere You Want MeOne and TwoSpaceCool and Cold.”
  3. complete physical and digital press kits
  4. apply to festivals / book shows for spring/summer
  5. redesign myspace page
  6. organize mailing list
  7. follow up w/ college radio stations who have received our debut album
  8. build new merch table
  9. add new content to website (pics, videos, etc)

If anyone thinks they can help us with any of these tasks, please speak up b/c we could use any help we can get.  And we will be sure and compensate as best we can.

On another note, thanks to all who attended “The Love Show” on Feb 13th at Luna in Lake Charles.  The show was a complete and total success.  Love was is the air on this magical night, and the overall vibe was fantastic.

Special thanks to special guests Borderline Cuckoo from Baton Rouge and Mr. Paul Romance who sang “Total Eclipse of the Heart” with us.

And finally, our favorite cover band, Flamethrowers, will be performing this Friday, Feb 26th at Luna in Lake Charles for a benefit show to help raise money for Dean Dotts, a local musician and former member of Sons of Chaos who passed away recently.  Funds from the show will help his family pay for funeral costs and other related expenses.  Please come out and support!

Stay tuned for more updates.
